Law on Investment 2005 was approved on November 29^th 2005 by National Assembly and came into force on July 1^st 2006. It replaced Law on foreign investment in Viet Nam 1996, Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on foreign investment in Viet Nam 2000 and Law on promotion of domestic investment 1998.
